Caretaking and snow clearing in Anzère
Maintenance for the buildings and residences of the Anzère resort, on the Ayent hillside.
Anzère is a compact resort: the residences stand close together and their communal areas take a lot of traffic in high season. We come up from Sierre, across the plain and then up the Ayent hillside. The resort is further from our office than the plateau is, so we work there on planned rounds rather than call by call: grounds from April to October, access snow clearing from November to March, outside office hours.
Communal areas that see a lot of traffic
In a compact resort everything goes through the same halls: skis, snow off boots, pushchairs, bin bags. We do the communal areas more often during the school holidays than in spring, and we put the containers out on collection days.
Between two occupancies
Cellars, ski lockers and attics in a resort residence fill up with things nobody claims any more. We empty them and dispose of the contents, sorted, between two lets or before a make-good. If a flat has to be handed back clean after a departure, we do that too, quoted separately.
